As an update on earlier post, had to have the P38 taken down to the local dealer and they did the job in about 5 mnutes - the whole thing cost me £200 by time I'd paid for the recovery!! Everything Ok for two days and then it happens again!!!!!

Is there anyone in the York area with a portable 'reset' machine who would come and get it going for me? I'd rather pay you than them! Also, I was looking at some things on 'Black Box' solutions and they seem to solve the problem of the BeCM recode - the item is about £90 --- is it worth it?

Lastly, if it doesn't work this time does anyone want to own a 2000 P38 DHSE? Doesn't go but it's in great nick.

Any help would be welcome. Ta
