well that didnt work either, cheers anyway, going for a bank loan then off to the garage
If the syncmate hasn't worked means that the vehicle hasn't lost it's code.
OR, your ODB socket has corrosion. Just drop the socket down & take a look.
I've only just noticed that i joined in 2007 & i've just entered my first post.
cheers mate, but whats the odb socket and where do i find it
Gemsdad,
You're not wrong there. Becm's aren't made anymore & all the new units are rebuilts.
Not only do we rebuild them for the main dealers we also cater for all the private repairs, like yourselve's.
The reason how i know the syncmates work is that i commissioned blackbox solutions to design that specific tool but when it was in production i suffered two major brain haemorrhages. No one thought i was going to make it. Blackbox still supplied all my customers & the demand for them took off. They work.
That probably also answers a previous post by a member stating i never answer my phone. That was because i was stuck in hospital for a while. The other statement made is completely wrong, we're not expensive, probably the cheapest & we don't bull**** our customers about what fault the becm has or rip anyone off like another company mentioned on here.
Anyway, I'm here to share some knowledge & if i can help or guide anyone to fix something theirselves, then that makes it even better.
