hi, finally bought my first range rover, a metallic green 1995 2.5 dtse, and really love it. Has been well looked after by previous owners, and i just want it for sunday cruises with the family and the odd trip to work.
My query is that on the centre console is a button relating to the hi/lo ratio settings. It is constantly illuminated. A quick look at the manual, followed the instructions to disengage it, and it is still on. could not hear any noise etc from below to indicate any thing happening. Took it to a friend who is a mechanic, he says she is driving fine, cruises smoothly at 70mph. Says that if she was in low setting she wouldnt get above 20mph, and it must be a loose wire, or faulty relay.........any thoughts on the matter?????????
