P38 key code lockout

Hi I have a 1995 p38 4.6 hse it has a message on dash saying key code lockout I tried putting in EKA code but no joy the red light in dash didn't go off and the alarm goes off when I open door. Each time I turn key the alarm bleeps the Internet says I have to turn the key four times first before entering key code. CAN ANYONE HELP ME

Have you tried turning the key 4 times because that what you have to do to get it ready to accept the code

Yes I turned the key 4 times first before entering code...but no joy.....what I haven't tried is putting in the code without first doing the turn the key 4 times...would that work ?

A big, big Thankyou to Mozz for all his help with key code lockout also to dogsbody for turning up with his nanocom and helping get my P38 running........sorted now thanks guys.. Now I have it running Incan see what issues I have. Airbag replacement..viscous fan replacement...sensors on auto box to remove select neutral fault....
