P38 Issues

Friend of mine has just purchased a 2001 Range Rover P38 4.0 but he's not too much of an Internet person hence I'm posting for him! I'm not a 4X4 person by any means and he's got as few issues he needs to arrange for someone to repair:

The Climate Control is blowing continuously,

Heater Matrix is leaking,

He want's to have it LPG converted,

Is anyone local to him who could take a look or can anyone recommend a specialist locally as he's in Tamworth Staffordshire.

There's a mobile mechanic who could do O rings / blend motors etc, plus servicing etc if you need that done - service booked stamped as he is a vat reg business as well. His name is Jason, tel 07903077948. Land Rover trained techie, has done some jobs for me in the past to a good standard. There's also Hi Range Range Rovers on the A38 between Lichfield and Burton, never used them but they've been there for years!

Thanks for everyones help so far!

He's been to High Range on the recommendation and they've been very helpful with him attempting to repair the coolant leaking and fan blower issue. They have given him sold him an additive to stick in the coolant and also sold him a new console to hopefully sort the permanent fan blowing.

Holy crap, if thats the best they can do, sell him an additive stick for the leak, stay well clear of them, the 'O' ring leak is an easy fix any competant Diy'er can do, new 'O' rings from the main dealer are a couple of pound, and a few hours of your or another time to change them, have a look on rangerovers.net, they have lots of fixes on there with photo's.:doh:

Fortunately my friend has spoken to Jason the mobile mechanic and he's hopefully coming next week to change the O-Rings. He's left the additive he was given in the tin and I've told him to store it away and not use it!
