P38 indicators on...

I just wonder if anyone have had the same problem...
About 3-4 times now the parked up and locked car turns the indicator on!
All four on and they are not flashing. Open the car and lock it and all okay after?

I had a similar problem all 4 indicators would come on and stay on until I reset the alarm. It turned out to be rf interference. Not happened since I took out the blue wire from the RF receiver under the right hand parcel shelf. Only slight downside is you have to stand fairly close to the car to lock/unlock with the fob.

Thanks for that. Mind you I have to stand very close anyway for some reason. The keyfob only seem to operate just about 1-2 meter away from the car. Is that normal?

Sounds like the aerial has been disconected from the RF receiver.

Thanks for that. will have a look. Went to start old girl and the battery flat again....Only use the car on the weekends. So after charging will have a look at the naughty blue wire...
