p38 heater matrix removal

ihavea p38 range rover. and matrix seems to be bloocked as one side of pipe gets got and other doesnt. have recently had major water pump problem where blade expolded and entered water system. is the matrix hard to remove and any one done one for some step by step help please.

i thin it,s a case of dashboard out,to make the job easier,but i would consult the rave manual to be on the safe side,as with all repairs,half the car needs to come apart before you get to the bit you need to fix

Wooooaaaahhh there! Dont get carried away. Acertain that the heater matrix is at fault before even considering removing it. Disconnect the two pipes that go through the bulkhead first and attach a hose, try it on both pipes to to make sure there is a good flow. I would suspect that it is no more serious than an air lock, these are easy to get if you dont bleed the system properly after draining.

If you read the Rave manual to see about removing the matrix you will have heart failure. There are short cuts that are well documented to make life easier.
