i looked into this a few months ago
if you want this done its not easy to do yourself
there are a number of companies that do this sort of thing
range over is a good start
the l322 lights dont just plug in nor do they fit the hole left by the old lights
i gave up the whole idea and got a l322 never looked back
good luck

i got all the bits to do the conversion and never got round to doing it on my own one but we done it on my mates 1--I found out after you take the headlights out you have to cut out all the metal work behind that including the metal box at the bottom to get the headlight far enough back you also have to cut the fixing brackets off the headlight and refabricate own to fix lights and need to strenghten the slam panel, to do the wiring i opted for the basic lights as it was the easy option where you can just cut the wires and rejoin them to the existing socket and same for side lights and indicators the front grill needs to be cut down on each side and the backing cut back to get it to sit flush with the lights for more to do with this look at pimpmyrange.co.uk

Nah..as most people want to make their P38 look like a 322, I was thinking of getting a 322 and converting it to look like a P38, after all there are plenty of retro vintage cars and vans about!!
Come to think of it, what about my P38 looking like a Classic..as I really miss the old 3.9SE
:der::der::der:

Range Over will convert your whole P38 to look like a L322, but it'll cost £8,500 + Vat. You can buy an L322 for that.

I wouldnt bother as it looks **** and not put together well. Grill sticks out in front of the lights isntead of being flush and the bumper with square fogs doesnt look right at all either.
