Hi all, Im thinking of refreshing the front grill on the car and wondered what everyones opinion is? Im thinking either silver or black, what do you think?:)

If you paint the grill remember to do the faded plastic that runs under the headlights. It always looks chipshop when they are left faded next to a gleaming grill.

+1 for the Forever Black, you can get it on ebay for about £12 and you can do the door handles as well.

I dyed my grill a few weeks ago and it transformed the front of the car. It's easy to use and just build up the coats of dye until the grill is jet black again and it looks factory fresh. It only took an afternoon and for a few quid a cheap fix.

Regards

Darren

don't waste your money on any fancy sprays or polish, just use peanut butter and it will come up like new, just wipe it on any black plastic trim, leave it for a minute and wipe it off,it comes up like new, don't believe me try a little bit on the corner of your grille, you will be amazed, 56p tesco own brand works perfectly

Peanut butter is fine until you go into an under privilaged area and all the local kids start to lick your grill at the traffic lights and speed bumps :d:d:d:d:d:d

Yeah cooking oil has the same effect but it's a bastard to clean off if you ever decide to do the job properly. :D:D

The forever black stuff is great, did the grill on mine before I sold it, I still see the car as a relative has it, it is still as good as when I did it 3 years ago

I went silver and black. Sprayed it black first and then hand striped a matt silver on the "leading edges"of the slats just to give a bit of a lift. I think it looks great.

Had mine spayed body colour. Just bought some forever black for the bumpers etc following the recommendations of others on here. Too busy working on the house to do anything to the RR of late.
