Does anybody know where he was from? I know we have problems with service over here, so maybe he was in the same position. I've been to a few Landy workshops and they say they don't have the software to work on the car? That is why I just do all the work myself.

Or maybe he's from Asia?

I sold mine a few weeks ago and have been a miserable B*"+*&%d ever since (wifes words, not mine !)
Now on the hunt for another......... Yes they can be a pain in the arse but don't forget cars nowadays are not diy fixers anymore and thats the way it is now,
How many people do you know that have had to go to a garage only to be told they don't have the software to diagnose the problem or it's a dealer fix only.
Ok, the P38 is complicated and tempermental, but when needed will get you out of the Sh**! (sounds like my wife )

It's one of those things, You learn to live with it! :D

my rangie been a right **** with gearbox but patience paid off running well again now
carnt see sence in fixing everything then selling it.
better the devil u know than buying 1 u dont

more likely thank **** it has gone, only p38 I would own is one to scrap-I don't miss mine at all.

totally agree, I bought a nice clean example not too high on miles but had already had block replaced so felt a bit better about it.

Usual faults arose, air bags, compressor, battery drain and then the flywheel flex plate disintegrated leaving me close to £1k lighter.

sold it not long after and got a text recently telling me the replacement block was on its way out :(

thank fook i got rid when i did.

dont think ive had a nicer driving experience for comfort but there is no need for all the problems that come with them. You may get problems with other marques but they are a hell of a lot less frequent

I forgot I had left an automatic bid on it on ebay oh well now the proud owner of 2 x 4.6 hse RR s

ignition fixed with some lube in the lock key fob now works
sunroof fixed with set procedure as per manual
