P38: Fusebox replacement - worthwhile checks/jobs to do at the same time?

Hi All,

I'll be swapping out my crumbling fusebox for a nice new replacement (1995 P38 4.6) and just wondered outher than disconnecting the battery, pulling out the old one, swapping the relays and reassembling, are there any sensible other things I can do whilst I'm at it?

Especially things that might help with electrical gremlins or prolong the life of the new fusebox..?

Change the pollen filtters, as blocked ones make the blower fans work harder thus over heating the relays again.

Check the relay bases for signs of burning and the pins for blueing from heat, replace if in doubt.
