ive been offered a set of 19 inch alloys off a range rover sport 2006 i beleive will they fit my 2002 p38 4,0 ltr as i think the 22 inch are a little big and dont look man enough to tow the caravan. so i thought these would be better being a less diameter.

You will also need spigot rings and new nuts. As long as the tyres fitted are correct they should be the same rolling radius as your old tyres and wheels. 19" wheels seem to look more balanced on the car than at least the 16"s do. Although they will give you a slightly harsher ride.

dont get me wrong the 22 inch wheels realy set it off and are van rated but im not convinced about having the van on the back and we are doing a trip to france in june touring with the caravan so im getting prepared . oil leak is the next problem these 4.0 ltrs are a great engine but its not doing my drive any good and ethel is on my case every week end before i go to work power wash the drive thanks for the info wammers

19"s are the largest wheels i would go to on a P38 they look right, and as i say if you have the correct tyres fitted speedo readings are the same. Just a little less give in the tyres so the ride is a little harder. 34 PSI all round seems a good pressure although you may want to up the rears a little when loaded.

I run 19's and you have to fit new nuts and spigot rings as wammers said and I run 2.3 in the front and 2.5 in the rear and can confirm the ride is slightly harder

when u say new nuts l take it that will be for the sport not the p38

You will need new wheel nuts to fit the sport wheels to the P38. The P38 wheel nuts are a much larger diameter than the ones fitted to the L322. And there are two different sizes of those depending on year. You will also need spigot rings to reduce the diameter of the sport wheel spigot to fit on the P38 hub.

just a thought, maybe your 22" already has the rings and correct bolts to fit the 19" - easy to check

dont know about the rings but the nuts are deffo not the same had to buy some locking nuts and they are not the same thanks tho it did cross my mind first
