Cleared all the faults down on my HEVAC and the only one still showing is Evaporator temperature sensor to ground - it is actually registering 65000 degrees. This is the only part I did NOT buy when I prepared to replace the blend motors

I cannot find the part at Rimmer Bros or Island 4x4 - anyone know where I can get one and how much? Might as well replace that too whilst the dash is out :croc:

May not be faulty, they do show 65 odd k degrees when they get down close to zero.Switch the AC off and run it a while, the temp should come back to a plausible level.Easy enough to change if it is faulty when the dash is back in.
Hope you didnt take the dash out just to do blends ?

Two of the three need to be replaced, therefore might as well do all three, plus o rings plus matrix temp sensor and get all done in one go

I'm not doing it any way - I am going on vacation instead :D

Same statement - none of those need dash removal, its better to do it all in place - two reasons, first its quicker, second you are less likely to break anything or have annoying rattles after.

Got back from vacation on Saturday - picked the car up Sunday - everything working :)

Drove up to Burton yesterday, footwell full of water :(

Popped back into the garage last night, up on the ramps, stiff tube poked up the LH drain and then about 3 ltrs of water dropped out - job done!

Parts - £230
Lab - £650

Ohh and they also sorted the oil leak out (duff pressure sensor leaking)

Hopefully that is it for the forseeable future.
