Hi, ive just sold my TD5 and bought a P38 4.0 V8 on a 99 v. Before i got this one
i looked 5 others, every single one had had engine a replacement i thought the old V8 was bullet proof ? Looking back through the history of mine its had two new engines, one 60k and again at a 102k  The last engine fitted is Turner engineering unit, can anybody tell me how good their engines are.

Id rather drive the p38, My 52 td5 was ok, but my old 300tdi (tuned) would out peform the TD5 allday long. I sold the Td5 for good money and p38s are cheap as chips. Each to there own, but my Td5 had egr blanked, it was decatted and chipped, but p38 v8 still goes much better:)

Who did the 300tdi tune up, must be good to out perform a chipped TD5 ;);)
