P38 Engine..... ha the joys!

Hi Guys,

Engine has packed in, in my p38...... so looking for a new engine it's a 4l v8.

Finding it difficult to find an affordable one and there doesn't seem to be many 4l about..... can any1 help?

Also seeing more of the 4.6's for sale, would it be possible to put that into the 4l rangey with out changing to much.... is this possible?

any feed back would be much appreciated...... thanks.

Only thing I found when looking about is the 4.6 uses a different gearbox. Something about a 4 pin diff where as the 4.0 uses a 2 pin but I could be wrong!
