Hi All, just a bit of info...after only a few minor problems with my EAS system, which i was able to reset myself, began to wonder about a Spring conversion...found a lot of info on here for sorting all EAS problems out ..thanks, But eventually i decided to convert to Coil Spring and bought / fitted the kit.It has been on for 4 x months now, and not a single problem with the suspension.The ride seems ok too. Just a thought for all you owners out there who may be fed up with the EAS on your excellent Range Rover.......

I fitted new airbags 4 weeks ago, haven't had any problem either didn't really have any prob's before except airbag sag over a few days due to slight cracking of airbags, nice soft floaty type ride restored with no sag...:D

Bet your's cost you more than 220 quid including retaining clips......:p....:rolleyes:...:)...:D
 
How easy was it to fit the coil spring conversion, how long did it take? I have the same problems and am considering this as an option

Its easier with the use of a Ramp..and very straight forward all instructions came with it and an overide for the EAS ECU so no more beep beeps whilst driving,you just bolt some caps on the axle / body to house the springs and fit the springs as you would airbags.it took approx 4 hrs to do.(kit cost £260-00 + vat)

it did m8 (£260-00 + vat) but hopefully wont cost me any more in the future .........

Changed mine to coils over a year ago now, best thing I ever did
I took a while looking for the best kit and it now handles far better than it ever did on air
Sell your valve block, compressor, air dryer etc. - you will make more than the coil kit costs, and don't listen to the knockers, it's one less thing to worry about :)

Any of you springer boys told your insurance companies about your mods? just wondered what the reaction would be. I am sure on the phone they will say "no problem sir" until you have an incident that requires a visit from the loss adjuster.....
 
Told, and noted on the policy............no charge :)
Now go and chin the 20" chav wheel brigade to see if they have told their insurance company :D
