As I said, sorry if this has been asked , had a quick look and could not find the info. Also sorry if I am being a bit thick.
Got the dreaded suspension prob and bought the lead and software to fix.
Fount the eas ecu but the plug that goes into it is huge compared to the obd2 one I have on my lead. Do I have the wrong lead

thanks

The lead plugs in under the dash on passenger side.

Thanks for the help.
Plugged it in, followed the instructions, but did not unlock the unit and the fault remains. looks like a trip to the garage :(

Yep.It started scrolling throught the two columns of numbers ending FF or 1 alternating. Clicked to find faults, got a big list of various things. Clicked the unlock button and the scrolling paused briefly , all the faults were there still in the list, but I carried on following instructions to press stop, remove plug and turn off the ignition then turned it back on and it was the same. Tried the whole process 3 times. Not sure if its me doing something wrong or not :-(

u tried the 'unlock' btn? what faults are listed?

Lots of different ones from Hidden , ride height wrong, cannot lower FR, cannot lower RR, vehicle moved. There was 20-30 things in the list , I will do it again and put the complete list here

There was another post on here that had a very similar list , and was told it was possibly scrolling through a list of faults, to clear it and try the test again.
When you click the unlock button should the list dissapear?

Thanks a lot for your time and help. Looked at the videos and seem to be doing it right. The one thing I noticed that seems to be wrong on my reading was in the reciever buffer all the values are supposed to end in FF but the dont , they are the same as the other column alternating between FF and 1

mine does that but dunt stop anything... try the unlock eas... have a play wi the software... but DONT change height settings

On the EAS screen on your computer there is a button next to the word "Staus =", if you computer is talking sucessfully to the EAS that button will go from red to green. If its not green, it's not synched. You may need to adjust the one byte delay and/or the two byte delay or the idle delay. Mine works with 375 for both the byte delays and 75 for the idle delay.
If it is synched, do an "Unlock EAS" then "Read Faults" This should give you the cause of the fault.

Ah, just tried again, the bit next to status stays red and says no idle, so tried adjusting the idle and cant get it to go green so tried to alter the 1 and 2 bite delays but still staying red

Each time you alter the byte or idle time figures you need to re-initialise the software. Have you got the ignition key in position 2? When the cable is plugged in and the key is turned to pos 2, you should get the "Max 35 MPH" Message on the dash. So when you change the settings, turn the ignition off then on and then re-initialise the software:D
