hi all got my 2 rear bags and compressor on yesterday from island 4x4, and all is working correctly, smooth quick etc, but having been driving around in it most of the day yesterday and today i decided to pop the bonnet and have a wee look , i felt the compresor and it was really really hot are they meant to be this hot i could barely touch it ? no faults in system, cant see any leaks etc staying at correct height just worried in cause it burns out or something cheers again

Compressor does get warm. You may have a leak somewhere if it is running quite often. If car stays up when parked. You may have a leak in the pressure side tank to valve block. Or NRV1 in valve block. Or small 4mm pipe to diaphragm solenoid valve. Or diaphragm solenoid valve itself. After a good run try setting car to low position over night. In morning it should rise almost straight away. If it does not the pressure storage side is leaking.

it seemed to raise straight away today, will go for a drive in the snow tonight and leave it low over night and see what happens cheers again
