i have a tuning box on my dse and it is absolutly rapid now and still holds 25.6mpg round town and 44mpg on the motorway!!

44mpg?

44? as in Forty Four? ... Like 45 but one less? MPG?

I bet that figure is off the message centre from the computer and not brim to brim. It ain't accurate with the power box fitted.

maybe so, but 44mpg written on my dash makes me feel 110% whilst driving in this current credit crunch lol.

have had mine at 40mpg on teh message centre, but brim to brim it is no where near that so i reckon mine has been chipped at some stage of its life

The message centre MPG is notoriously inaccurate without needing to have been fiddled with. According to mine there have been times when I've gone for 100+ miles using no juice at all, and then used 1/3 tank just to find a space in the local car park! Brim to brim is the only accurate way to gauge MPG.

well to everyone interested, my number is 07596972840, im in northampton, fits all bmw diesel p38's is a plug and play job. am after £150ono for it. id prefer collection

the box is from td performance, they do have a website but do not list it anymore

any takers?

when i fill my tank on a 2.5 DSE the dash says the range is 850 Miles, but in reality im getting 420miles from completely full to power fade from low fuel. also mine is chipped and got an uprated intercooler.
