new big battery today and no start. need to get her going as am over to the uk on friday morning.

so any tgoughts on what to look for please?

thanks

Tony:confused:

Check the voltage at the glowplugs, should have a good 12 volts when the glowplug light is on. If the voltage is good, then I reckon your glowplugs are shot. If the voltage is low then look for bad connections and check the glowplug relay.
You can try cycling the glowplug light by turning the ignition on and off 3 or so time and see if that helps.

i have the same problem new glow plugs fitted new battery and new leak off pipe new diesel filter and a new 1 way fuel valve and i am still gettin nowere i think its time to get rid its just not worth the hasal anymore

thanks i took my tank off last week and removed the pump and checked it it was fine the plastic tank had no sediment or sand in it either this is frustrating to thanks for your help though it keeps me in ideas

You might need to buy/rent a syncmate , you plug it into your odbc port look at the lights blink and as if by magic it will start.
