So with my Series 3 in airfix kit form, waiting for the day (or even if) I'll get back to it. I decided a daily Land Rover was a good idea...Looking to start towing my Astra Bertone to tracks and stuff in the near future and also living in the sticks, a P38 would be halfway decent at both towing and the occasional snow/bad weather days

I got offered a coil sprung P38 for a decent price, it just needed new front springs, brake pipes and front radius arm bushes for MOT

So new front Bearmach 2" lift springs and new polybushes fitted

And obligatory Chinesium Light bar fitted

And how it sits for now, Looking to swap the X5 wheels out for a more grown up set of wheels and All terrain tyres

There's a list of small but irritating issues I need to fix, like new bulbs for the climate panel and get the heated screen working and stuff...but the bug for more off roady parts has bitten already

So no major developments but, managed to blag a set of decent standard 16 inch wheels with All terrains for not a lot of money. Was pleasantly surprised to find they where 265/70/16 instead of the standard(?) 255/65/16

Looks much better now and even threw some water it's way with the pressure washer seeing as we had a not too cold dry day...immediately dirty again after one journey

Also got a half decent upper and lower tailgate seeing as mine seems to shed more and more of itself every time I close it
