Can anyone help. About a month ago the pump in the fuel tank started playing up, so i changed it. Before i removed it I tested the delivery amount like the land rover manual said. When the pumped wanted to work it delivered 200ml in 10 seconds 20ml more than min' requirements. The new one pumps a little over 300ml in 10 seconds. Could this upset any of the numerous sensors or not. I ask this because since I fitted the new pump it hasn't been the same.
When first fired up after pump renewal it was ok then next mornin started fine, had throttle but when in gear it had no power to push the car.
It has had new leak off pipes and filter after this prob' and was ok for two weeks now it's playing up again. It will hunt on tickover and cut out if you use throttle and hold it at 2000rpm it dosen't miss a beat the it will drop 1000 the go back to 2000rpm. It's worse than ever now. No diagnostic light has come on. It's really bugging me now.
Can anyone help PLEASE. I don't want to get rid of it but it's heading that way.
