p38 Door Lock Jammed?

Hi Guys.

I have had a look around the forum and cnnot find the exact symtom as I have. anyone confirm the problem?

I went to get into the car this morning and using the remote the two rear doors opened but the front two remained locked. I opened one rear door and lifted the latch on the passenger front door and that dorr also then opened. I tried to do the same on the drivers door and the latch is firmly down and door locked.

I have tried the remote a few times and the same every time.

Is my drivers door locked solid and I need a new door latch assy?

Hi can only say had similar problem rear doors work on remote front don't, think to do with R/f unit burning out door mech i had to replace both front mechs,but think it would be good idea to pm someone like dougdotcom.he probably give you better info, or datatek they give good advice

Sounds like the front door is superlocked and the motor or mechanism has failed. Might have to cut the lock bar to open it.
