Looking at the 4.6 petrol radiator it has the top and bottom pipes but would it fit?
I imagine it would fit, I can't see there is space for different mountings and if the Omega bottom hose could be used I think it would be a good option. As I have recently fitted a new RAD, I'm not about to try it, but next time the RAD goes I might look into it.:)

Does the Omega rad have an oil cooler in the bottom of it?

When I replaced mine one dealer refused to offer a guarantee at all saying they all go sooner or later. Does your confidence no good. I tried to get a metal one but they are about £350.
Island 4x4 offer a full 1 year guarantee against a faulty rad but I reckon they too would wriggle and try to blame the car or fitter. One member on here had the plastic replaced with aluminium by an aircraft engineer and reckoned it cost about the same as a new rad! Now there's an idea.
Do you think it would be possible to plastic weld it? mine has split across the top seam as well & i wondered if it's worth a try

They are not expensive of the bay of e, if its a diesel and you intend keeping the car there are alloy ones available, just make sure it is fitted with the baffle in the top, there have been a few for sale that don`t have them and the car overheats.
