Replacement fobs are only available from the dealer.
What is the problem with yours?.

Just to add, when you put new batteries in are they lined up right? I have had a blooody nightmare with mine,

from what I can tell you have to insert it in the right position and then turn to the right position to make the contacts connect,

I also stabbed myself in the hand with a bloody screw driver trying to take the old cover off, can't believe what a faff it was, but unless you turn the cap to the exact right position it won't work

Pete

tried it every which way it is totally dead no light at all

apparently as mine is an early p38 a fob off ebay should work, with the eka code entered the vehicle should be able to learn the fob,how true is this?
sounds a bit sus to me.

getting fob 7 -10 days, bloody long time, battery won't alst that long lol, will give it a boost tomorrow, keep it topped up, apparently there are 4 keys available for these,i am getting key 3, if i get a duplicate of 1 or 2 it will cancel the other out, will this matter as both fobs are completely fooked anyway,so could i duplicate key 1 or 2?
and does that mean if 3 and 4 fail that is it new bcm and the like required (or 2nd hand parts)

dont know about that ..........
I ordered a new fob from the dealer and the one that showed up was a number 1 ......
so as soon as I used it, it made my other key useless .......

On a related topic....

On both my fobs, the unlock button doesn't work...but is little more confusing than that...

Key 1 - Unlock doesn't work, unless I press Lock first, then after a few presses the Unlock will work

Key 2 - Unlock refuses to work at all...

The keys are sealed/welded closed - does anyone know how to get to the innards to check for damage??

You can lift the button pad out, problem is probably the button breaking up. New button pad kit under £6 on Ebay:)

You can get a new after market fob that WILL work from a company in manchester, i think they are called keyteck or keyguy, my mate got 1 for his and it worked. Il find the proper name for the company and the number but it did stil cost around a one'er (£100) this is a defanat ive seen it with my own eyes.
