Can anyone shed any light on this-

2000 X reg Vogue 4.6l

When I turn on the ignition, engine fires instantly, but it takes 2-3 minutes until everything is set to drive off, the sequence is:

Engine fires - ABS, Handbrake, TC, SRS & Alternator warning are all on.

Once I give it some revs Alternator warning goes out, but 35mph warning comes up

After about 90 secs the Air suspension light comes on (along with power to the heater/AC), she rises to height levels and the SRS light goes out, but it takes 20-30 secs to come up to height.

I can then pull away handbrake and TC go out and ABS goes out when I've pulled away, but if I pull away too soon they stay on for 10-20 secs

Its only like this first start of the day, the rest of the time she comes up to height and starts perfectly.

Any suggestions, the LR specialist looked at her says her airbags are fine, is it the compressor?

sounds like you have a leak somewhere - if she comes up and stays there once you are moving and works as it should with the selector switch then valve block, height sensors etc. are working as they should.

When you come to get in the truck first thing has she dropped to bumpstops (that's the setting that normally gives the 35mph warning) and if so it sounds like you have a leak either in the pipes or the bags

someone with a lot more info on the EAS wil be along soon I'm sure, just my 2p worth

Cheers for that, it never occurred to me that it might be the alternator, battery is brand spanking new, so should be ok.

That depends on where you got it from and what size it is. New batteries have been known to fail:eek: Put a voltmeter on the battery, with the engine at 2000 rpm you should have at least 14.5 volts after a few minutes.
