P38 Cupholder

I keep seeing pictures (see the adds for the gas ram on ebay item 280468516652) of a different cubby box lid with little fingers on the cup holders so that it might actually hold a cup unlike the existing cup spiller fitted to my 98MY.

Any idea what year these came in or were they an aftermarket item?

Them's posh Spud !!
I'll have a look on the EPC tomorrow and see if they are listed. Looking at the trim could be an Autobiograpy.

there the exact same as whats in my P38, why what do yours look like?

Hard to tell under all the tea and coffee stains from it not doing its job

It looks similar but is much shallower and doesn't have the three rubber fingers. So its crap really! I wouldn't mind so much but the soft dash RRC has the brilliant pop out ones under the radio from the later Disco 1's

They started p utting them in from 2000 onwards. Part of the "upgrade" like the lights and stuff.

The part no. I can find for the Black lid complete is FJB000020LNF
The holder is not listed separately, it's part of the lid. There are other part nos. relating to different trim colours.
One here on Egay 300399045017 up for £75 new B.I.N., says dealer price is £212..OUCH!!

Was bidding on one on ebay but my internet connection died, just as well though, I had a dose of bid fever and it went for £82! Phew! think I'll get one of the ones that clips into the coin holder, they're only £25

dude get on to yer man in cork im sure he's breaking a few, if not hold back and wait till one comes up for fair money, i'll keep my eyes peeled if i come across one i'll let you know. hang tight and you'll get one at the right price.
