P38 crash sensor question

I do not know for sure but I think all the distributed front sensors are the same.

There's only one model I think but you will need the correct unlock code for your model 38'. Diesel or petrol and the lead to go with it as there are a couple.

There's also some used on eBay, but licenses vary, and you will need to contact Blackbox and get a used one registered to you.

Had nanacom on my p38 today and would not talk to ECU for airbags.!!

Are you selecting the correct ECU version? Early and late SRS ECU's are totally different.

Yes I know that as I have 2 p38s one has crash sensors and one has none.

I changed the ECU not new.

Can U still get new ECU s for the p38 and crash sensors

The crash sensors are still there just integrated in the ECU on the newer version.

I doubt the early version is available still new, the late version might be but that's unlikely. I may have an early version you can have for the cost of postage, I'll look tomorrow.

Had the nanacom check out the fault it's not talking to the ECU don't know how

I wonder if it's a break in the wiring

You could do with finding the ecu and see if your getting power to it with the ignition on. All the fuses OK?

Also check the obd plug for corrosion

Changed the ECU 2nd hand but said it was ok
