p38 crankcase sensor

hi...I bought a new CKPsensor, cannot get to the clip to get the old one off. the bolts are fine, its just accessing that blooming wiring harness clip...could they not but it anywhere more difficult?...have given up for the day...beer calling...walking to pub.,

They could have put it inside the bell housing

Some people prefer to get at it from underneath. Just make sure it’s secure on axle stands before going anywhere under there
Diesel take starter out will give you plenty of room. Not sure about V8 accessibility

thanks mate, I always keep the axle stands under there, just in case...so, the starter has to come out too? I need arms like ET to get to this! cheers, t
