p38 conundrum

Thought I'd see what the bretheren say.. Basically i have been greedy :) and purchased two 4.6V8 P38's. One has an MoT but some niggly faults, whilst the other hasnt got an MoT but only failed on bulbs, emissions(New spark plugs and a quick blast) rusty brake pipe and an imbalance in the brakes. So do i a. stick non MoT one through its test and hope the brakes are nothing expensive and flog it on for a profit then purchase bits to get other one upto scratch or b. use non MoT one as a spares vehicle flogging stuff i dont need and weigh the shell in.

Stick it in for an MOT and decide after seeing the fail sheet.
