On to my next issue started when I fitted new discs pads calipers on front went to bleed brakes on the order required in book no fluid would get to calipers same both sides side so replaced the modulator now I can bleed the brakes blead them several times now not getting any air start up and it brakes pedal seems soft if press had abs light pops up and goes out after a second stops well abs pump running every time pedal press turn ignition off press pedal 30 times pedal goes soft but brakes still there as on hill engine off rolling it stops all flexes seem to look ok all bleed with easybleed as on My own trying to get a pair of hands round this week end

There are three nipples on the modulator. Read Rave for the correct procedure.
Yes know were they are had no fluid coming out of them on old modulator at all new one fitted have bread them several times over the last few days following every step to the letter good flow of fluid from all with no bubbles in sight

Did you follow the correct ignition on / off stages? You haven't left hose clamps in place have you?

No clamps have been on it have brake fluid at all 4 wheels no air yes I have followed it to the leter several times over I have pumped over 4 L of brake fluid through it but still pedal feels soft and abs light pops up it stops fine abs pump working every pedal press

Sorry to ask but did you bleed the three nipples on the modulator in the correct order? This vehicle must be bled as per Rave.

Yes it’s been repitadly blead in the exact order followed to the letter by me at least 15 times and my my mate about 5 times the last 17 times o air bubbles have been found

if pedal firms after second push it might be piston retracting on the new calipers easy enough to rule in or out by watching them whilst someone presses brake pedal

Hoping to get mate round tomorrow will get him to look at that but it’s the same every time pedal pressed realy had enough of it now realy need this week have tryed ignition off and pumping 30 times to depressurise and can almost push pedal to the floor when ignition on its firm but still loads of travel stops fine but the abs pump runs every time shore there is somthing and lights flash up I feel shore it’s not the abs pump checked all connections to modulator and calipers no leaks in sight shore I’m missing somthing simple just can’t find it could do with someone local that knows them to pop over and have a look and see what they think

I used an Ezibleed kit to push about 3 litres through the modulator (clutch as well) before starting on the brakes. If the pump is running every push of the pedal then either there is air trapped somewhere or possibly the accumulator is fecked.

Yes starting to think that it’s the acumilator not shore how long the abs pump I have fitted was sat off car for going to put my acumilator off old abs pump on tomorrow and see if that helps
