P38, Bio Diesel

So far so good, processing Bio fuel via a reactor and now weaned RRp38 onto 75% Bio, 25% Dino, no power loss, in fact seems to run better on the Bio, soon to move onto 100% bio. Has anyone experienced problems with running a P38 on Bio? and does anyone know if a PSI Powerbox will work with Bio fuel?

dont now about psi but myne runs ok . and i think ask everlatesparky he runs his on bio hope this helps.bernie.

Why would a power box not work with bio fuel. It doesn't know what type of fuel it is. It will work with any type of fuel the engine will run off.

That's what I thought Wammers, but the dealer selling the Power Box couldn't confirm it would work. I like the idea of increased MPG, means I wont have to make as much! but got to say that more power isn't really needed, especially as the mrs drives it most of the time!

The BMW diesel will not run on bio!!!!!

You should give me all your oil and bio so i can dispose of of it safely

Failing that carry a spare fuel filter and don't forget to smile to yourself as you drive past the tax station

Hi there folks, just joined up tonight, got a P38 2.5DSE and love it to bits, (which is a good job 'cause it's nearly always in bits,lol) I'm very interested in the powerbox that was mentioned earlier,soz forgot who by, am in Sheffield, does anyone know where i can source on near me????? Thanks burnie, i must have upset the old girl, just had to go to get 'er indoors in the rollerskate ( MX5) cause rangie wont start. I'll have a dabble on ebay and let you know how i get on. Cheers
