P38 auto gear box fault

Looking at RAVE faults lists there are some listed were there is no meassage, but not in limp mode, every case of limp mode displays a gearbox fault. As far as i can see.

Filter and oil on order..lets hope it works
The next problem to sort is the heater buttons dont work, the light comes on to say i,v pressed the button..but air still only comes out of screen demist ....any idears on that one...

Blend motors. do a search, lots of threads on that subject.

After i had the filter and fluid changed the gearbox was just the same, perhaps its just how an auto box works in an P38, so i will probs just sell as it is or sell it off for parts, thanks to everyone for your advice
