alright lads,
car still not starting ,had auto elctrician out 2day with diagnostics ,but i dont think he was up 2 much, said it was'nt electrical still have my doubts said that there was no way that the alarm being triggered would have anything 2do with car not starting, i asked about immobiliser stopping fuel, said no chance,he couldn't even tell me why the alarm was triggered surely diagnostics would tell u that, now iam looking at the fuel injection pump has any body had any problems with them.cheers pat

have you checked that there is fuel getting to the injector pump and that it's not something obvious like the stop solonoid fooked
(you may have done this but i didn't see the original thread and i'm too shagged to go lookin for it):D

yes; fuel going to the pump, the solinoid clickin in so the fuel is there, this guys diagnostic picked immobiliser fault through the spiderplug but the car dosen't have one ,they were on the discovery's,thats why ithink the guy and his machine wasn;t worth ****.what does agood diagnostic machine show u.
cheers pat.

hi i think the guy and his machine got it dead right, if the alarm is triggered so is the immobiliser, and even though the solenoid clicks it still wont start cos the brain stays asleep, cheers
