I trust you will get the help of your local TSO.. Trading Standards Officer!.. you must, dont let this go unreported ..... they will and can assist , nobody likes rogue traders like this ....... you need to name and shame on the forum?

Hi, i had the same problem......fixed in a matter of minutes hopefully it will do the same for your "bonnet Open" problem.
Ask a kind member of the family to pull the bonnet catch repeatedly while you look in the holes that the bonnet studs go in to, you should see the locking plate move backwards and forwards to release the stud when opening. on mine the catch was stuck open no clamping around the stud when the bonnet was closed.....get the DW40 out and release the catch. shut the bonnet and fingers crossed you are ready to go again! :)
hope it helps.

yes the alarm will drain the battery, the alarm for some bizarre reason, does drain it in a matter of days.
i can reset computer, and clear all faults.all you will have to do is reset everything.i am in oxfordshire,on the border of warwickshire.

Disconnected the switch on the slam panel, i dont get a bonnet open warning while driving, but once parked and alarmed, within 5 minute the alarm goes off and i get the "alarm triggered bonnet" message, any help appreciated, thanks Sam
