P38 air con control panel failure?

Does any one have an answer to this problem?

My P38 4.6 HSE air con control panel has decided not to illuminate, all switches work ok inc fan, but the green screen started to play up by flashing then working ok for a while then going out again.

Is there a cure or is it a new panel needed?

Any advice welcome, Marshall.

Could just be a blown bulb , I think they sell packs on evil bay

There's two or 3 bulbs in there, I believe? Odd for all of them to go at once... Although the plugs at the back are known for working themselves loose over time, or the connections just becoming dodgy. Best bet is to pull it out and see what's what.

I found the panel to be working ok it must be the bulbs Landrover show two bulbs one green and other white? cost about £2 each.
I will try these.

Thanks for the advice, I checked the panel it works fine not illuminated, I will try changing the bulbs when I can find out how to get the side panels off without them breaking, I see the screws but still tight?

Stratstone Landrover quote £2 each for the white and the green bulb.

Panel checks out ok just not illuminated.

Thanks I will give it a looking at, The panel is working, just not illuminating.

To get the side panels off take the screws out then lift them up at the back and whilst lifting at the back bang them down at the front with your hand.
