P38 4.6 bord computer does not work

sorry about my bad english - i am from switzerland and i am used to talk with a lot of "chchchchhhhh's" in my throat ...

My RangeRover P38 4.6 HSE year dec96 is standing outside this winter with temperatures under - 20°C and works in general very fine, starts up nice everything ok. but since a few days the boardcomputer informations does not show up anymore ( fuelconsumption, cruising range, mileage 2, etc. ) - is it possible to reset that thing - or how can i get back to these informations .... appreciate any help, thanks in advance !

probably a failed display common fault,dont think they have a bulb for backlight,can you see info if you look very closely

Most likely the bulbs for the backlight have failed.

oh - thank you for these ideas - but the daily mileage counter is showing up normally ( and is working )

- just the switching to other informations is not possible. - Normally i can push the info button on the combi switch left from the steering wheel ( also the direction indicator switch ) - on LHD this switch is left. Normally i can switch with that info-button to the informations for average gas consumtion, cruising range, trip recorder...

but in the moment if i push the button, nothing happens ... any other idea ?, thx !
