P38 2.5DSE 1996/97 Washer pumps

Are you saying my pump is fecked due to it losing 1 pin? i mean i suppose it is :D it needs + and - like the other pumps i guess.. And yes, the ones i took off were Red, and white :) And the red had larger outlet, i probably got a wrong delivery but ill try to manage by just taping around the outlet and fix it. Pressure seemed to be fine.

Anyhow, about the Breather valve. Mine just sits loosely inside camcover+ plastic intake. Like i can just grab it out... It was tied down by zipies before i took it off when i changed intake seals

Could be a year thing. You only need 1 pin depending how it is earthed. Check the electrical troubleshooting section in RAVE and see if it a year specific thing. e.g. the door lock actuators on early models have 2 plugs but on later models it is all in 1.

Try a new o ring.

Yes the second plug was for the earth which was incorporated into the plug on the later latches.
