P38 2.5 Diesel Tune up

So was mine but done by Superchip,think it was a franchise guy who came out and fitted it.
So was mine, I got it real cheap, he made it in front of me, he had all the software, and put it on the chip, then put it in the RR I paid him cash in hand (under the table) that's why it was so cheap, he even trusted me to test it out before I paid hi lol
 
I had trouble with the ECU.... it got a little errr wet, so I had to get a new one and some other bits

Too much heat on any chip isnt always good, they do take a lot of heat before they die, but they all tend to slot in, they are not like a CPU with 200 solder dots on them
 
Did he have to put a chip holder in first? I thought the originals were soldered to the board?

Why did you take it out?

@brianp38dse That's going to be a shed load of fuel going in on full chat with chip and powerbox!

I was thinking of taking the box of and seeing how much better or not it was with a proper chip.
The ecu I have in mine now after my little incident of the fryed one both the chips inside just pull out and it looks original, so a quite swap to try.
