I have a late P38 2.5 diesel LHD Belgian that suffered a low battery and now won't start. I have changed the battery and re-coded the key so the central locking works properly but there seems to be no diesel going in. I assume it's something to do with the immobiliser but need your help. I have read here that the car may need an engine ECU Security Re Learn but i want to know if this is true. Any help from yourselves would be greatly appreciated! The other prob is that the dash readout is in Belgian!

I am currently having a similar problem myself mate, take a look at my post. From what two local specialists told me today, is that if it says "Engine imobilised" on the information panel on your dash, your BECM will need re-sync'ing, but if it doesnt say this on the dash then chances are it doesnt.

Hope that helps
Jonathan

Stick on test book and re enter the codes 5 mins and the jobs done...
Best find a local independant as a main stealer will charge a lot for very little

Does anyone know who has this software and can help me in SW London near Putney? either garage nearby or someone mobile?
