P38. 2.5 Diesel Cruise Control Fault

Good morning peeps, some help / advice required.
My cruise control has packed up any ideas?? When I press the cruise switch on dash, no light come on and cruise control is not working?
Does anybody have any idea where i start first.

Looking for a failed fuse or relay may be a good place to start. Fuse 17 under seat has something to do with it.

Same problem here....

Have checked fuses, but not relays...

let me know if you get anywhere

If you have a multi tester there is a fault finding routine in RAVE to follow.

Thanks Guys I will check fuses over the weekend.
are the cruise control ones all located under drivers seat? or are there any else where.
Also Relyays for cruise where are they located.

You need to get RAVE and read chapter B6 (Cruise Control) on the Electrial Troubleshooting manual. It has a series of steps that you run to troubleshoot the problem, as Wammers suggested.

Just make sure if following RAVE that you follow the steps for diesel not petrol.
