could someone please help me in choosing the right shock absorbers,i don't want nothing too expensive,no britpart,there is some on ebay for£88 for 2,they are dynamics,never heard of them.does anyone have any recomendations,cheers for your help.
this is to go with coils,not airsprings.

Now that you have ruined the car with coils you may as well fit cheap shockers. What's wrong with Britpart shockers never had problems with them.

just reports on here,about them not lasting very long.
i am going away from air,it has cost me too much,can't find air leak,every week at land rover approved garage having my eas fault reset,the only wilnner is the garage,
however,i am waiting for more info on reading my eas faults for free,and a lead and disc,i do not want to go away from air suspension,but i cannot afford to keep putting money in someone else's pocket,i think it needs a new eas block,and compressor,the amount of money i have spent so far i could of bought 2

i value your opinion wammers,i don't want to go away from the air,but i do not have bottomless pockets,i was looking at both the for and against,it seems that coil suspension also has it's downfalls.
i have done nothing yet,the airsprings are still on the vehicle.
just need to find the tool that reads and resets the eas,that will cut down on garage costs
 
Oh god same old, same old. It certanly does not ruin the RR fitting coils, I did and I would do it again, so would my mate. It handles good and is very stable, the only down side I can see is that you cannot lower the car to get in or out. Don't know why cheap shockers are recomended because of coils, maybe should put cheap shock on the Alfa because its got coils ! seriously though I have no regrets, but can see why some want to keep to the original spec, its a matter of choice, do you know anyone that has fitted coils so you can try it, I had that chance so was easier for me. Thinking of adjustable Koni's myself but waiting to see my mate as he has fitted gas shocks but don't know what make, all I know is he was happy with them the last time I spoke to him, will ask tomorrow.

Free download www.rswsolutions.com for the EAS software, you can get a cable on Ebay.

As Data says buy the cable off eBay, you get a disc with software a cable and a usb adaptor for around £25.00. I find it better to run it off an old steam driven laptop with a serial port. The EAS is not all than difficult to sort out IF you follow the correct path. Good air pressure is the first thing you need, without that nothing else can work. That is the start point.
