P38A P38 2.5 Auto pre or post '99?

The exhaust and stuff is more expensive to replace on the '99. If you're thinking of an aspiring classic then I'd go 4.6 v8 with all the toys.

A V8 on LPG is about the same to run. The head gaskets go at around 120k miles but then the FIP goes on the diesel shortly afterwards so it is swings and roundabouts.
