Nope I have never been to Thailand.... Didn't say I had...
I have also never jumped off a cliff, and yet I can say with certainty that that is a very stupid idea
I was meaning Carnet more as a question. I don't even know if you need one in Thailand, but from your friends obvious lack of common sense (as relayed by yourself) I just thought it is something that should be looked into.
