Hi All,

I carried out a full service on my defender the other day changing all oils in the engine, gearbox, transfer box and both differentials. EP90 was used in diffs and transfer box and i used MTF94 in the gearbox. Ever since the oil was changed the gearbox has started to overheat. I took it for a drive yesterday for around 30 mins and when i got back gearbox was so hot you could not keep your hand on it. Changed the oil for another brand of MTF94 today (which i used in a previous land rover i owned without any issues) and took the land rover for a 10 min drive but it is still overheating. I suspect the oil pump might of failed but it seems a bit of a coincidence with the oil change. Any ideas on what else it could be? It is an LT77 gearbox with a 200 TDI enigne
