Cheers for the info, attached photos of insert- printed in ABS plastic to fit and be configured as required was my pre-pandemic project to create a system which could prototype and create low volume products the idea was to create and find a market for after-sales products, we can produce tools to mould composite parts etc, the pics are not up to date as now trim improved over substrate but I think it looks contemporary but I would lol.

thing is I spent most of my working life as an engineer with Rolls Royce jaguar, Bentley, lotus even tesla... at Lotus then became a hippy and wen to vestas wind followed by some time on bespoke projects including an amphibious truck (a bit of a fool's errand that one) now just an old coppersmith having fun ( in the eighties worked as a time served coppersmith in rolls Royce experimental)then went back as an engineer to jaguar - all that behind me

at my age, you either reinvent yourself or grow old land die lol If you think about restoring and optimising series land rovers and old machinery definitely a sustainable process they already exist we make them last another fifty year at least until the next restorer comes along

not looking to fit overdrive any more but thinking of PTO for the trailer to drive a hydraulic pump, anyone done this or point me in direction of a kit that exists, have a towable backhoe which tbh honest is a pain if you want to reconfigure to towable its a pain, thinking to build a trailer with unloading and load function it would be ideal. with current upgrades sarge no longer needs overdrive (might do it later but no rush)
