Had a Dolomite in that colour. Always thought of it as "dog**** brown",
never mind what BL called it.

Also had a Mini from around that period in "Sandglow", a kind of
nowt-nor-summat mustardy yellow. Except that it is now the coolest colour
going as "Camel Trophy" colour. Funny how your perceptions change.

i'm the right age (born march 1986), but parents were certainly not cricket
fans. but i can assure you, as long as i can keep my eyes open, i will be
watching the next three days, 7.30pm to 3.30 pm for us in Oz.

My first vehicle I ever owned was a Morris Marina van that my Dad gave me.
Used to drive to school in it after I'd passed my test.

The van was white, with red oxide dots everywhere. My Dad had actually
intended to do it up at some point and made a start on the rust, and that's
about as far as he got. I sort of inherited my Mum's Fiest Ghia after that
as as soon as I could drive, she gave up!

First car was a 1969/70 vauxhall victor VX4/90! You could hear it
rusting.........

Marina? Luxury! We had to make do wi takin' turns wi't family bike.
