Right, I've finally had it up to here with NTL's bloody newsgroup
servers. It looks like i'm gonna have to fork out for a subscription
to a reliable NNTP service. Reccomendations please?

news.individual.net <http://news.individual.net/> 10 euros/year,
regarded as one of the best on the net for text only newsgroups. I used
to use them, just haven't got round to subscribing since the service
moved from being free earlier this year.

Hi.

There was a free server some time ago. It had a "de" suffix. I used it
instead of ntl, but lost it when I change pc's. Wonder if anyone knows which
one I am referring to?

A free one that I use is aioe.cjb.net - quite fast and reliable, haven't had
any problems with it recently. And it allows posting too. A lot of the
free ones are browse-only.

I use 'em and paid me 10 EU, been using it for years. There's also a polish
one, supplied by www.gazeta.pl for which I've got signup instructions
somewhere if you don't speak polish.

Thank you thank you thank you.

I have been trying to find a free NNTP server that allows posting since my
ISP here in Zim "lost" their server and have been unable to fix it. At last
I can get my fix of decent information about the lanfdrover world. Thank
you to aioe.cjb.net as well!

Cheers!
