Original Price

Hi all, Just got my 'new' D1, a 1998 ES with all the extras, leccy seats, aircon etc. Do any of you fine fellows and Ladies know what the original book price for it would have been in 1998?

Not much than my more than the £32000 I paid for mine in September 1997 also leccy seats, air con are standard on an ES not extras.

The 98MY was along side in the showroom but I got £5000 of dealer fit extras thrown in free so making my model the better deal.

The only thing I can see as a difference between the two years is I don't have Boost wheels, head lamp levelling or at the time a high level brake light.

On checking the history on our 98 ES, original price paid was £35k

I think it was about 7 Quid,give or take the price of diesel thats in the tank!

Oh dear I'd hope for twice that at least better keep it then
Same with the my RRc which cost 25k, I only got 3k when I sold it 10 years later.

If it's as nice as this'un, I'd keep it. It was listed at £2k, but we had a bit of a haggle, as I had the magic CASH.
