Hi all, been a while since I posted on this forum, and it is with heavy heart that I have reached the decision to sell the old girl.
So here you are, warts and all:
Red 1993 (K) 200 tdi hard top van, pretty much unmolested from new, no silly lift kits or shocks or wide wheels or anything like that. I bought it 4.5 years ago.
In that time I have done:
Replaced rear chassis 1/4 (2010)
Rear shocks
Power steering pump replaced (paddocks)
Water pump replaced (paddocks)
Ultra heavy duty fully stainless steel roofrack/cage fitted
Fitted cross drilled transfer gear to transfer box (ashcrofts)
New rear brake shoes Dec 2013
Isolator switch fitted to battery
New brackets fitted to rear axle for shocks
New rear exhaust section Oct 2014
Polybushes - several fitted, others still in box to go with it
Rear A frame bush replaced Dec 2013
Clutch cylinders replaced Dec 2013
There is probably more that i have done that I cant remember, mechanically it runs great.
It has MOT until January 20th, tax until Dec 31st.
I simply dont use it enough to justify the expense every year, it is a shame but needs must.
The bodywork is OK, the usual bumps and scratches but nothing terrible for a 21 year old vehicle.
It will need some welding to the chassis before the next MOT, there are some holes that need plating near the front, and a couple of smaller holes further back.
I would like to sell it on here if I can, this is ideal for an enthusiast, it has never missed a beat, starts first time every time, even after weeks without use.
The engine etc is all original factory fitted 200tdi. Please call me on 07764 181141 to arrange viewing / test drive.
